Green Terror sexing and question 56K

I just got this green terror from petsmart(because its the only place I can find them) and its around 2 inches maybe alittle more. My question is can we sex it by my horrible pictures and are green terrors usually kind of drab like this when they are young? Do you think mine will end up looking nice. I want to get a mate for it in my 75 breeding project but I don't know the sex of this one and I don't know how to sex them young at all. I mean show me an adult I can probably tell the sex but not out of a tank at petsmart.:nilly: Or mine at this point LOL>

I think its probably too small to tell and from what I hear most GTs are somewhat indistinguishable. I'd say this is a male by the fins. Nice Gold Suam btw.
 
Really! What on the fins makes you think this.? Im jsut curious so I can learn how to sex young ones better.
 
Wait then do you mean you think its a female if the fins are more rounded? Because you said you think its a male?
 
What? That goes agaisn't all I have ever heard. Are you sure you are not mixed up here?? I 99.9 percent positive, I would bet my life actually that pointed longer fins are male and more rounded is female
 
If I had only one guess Id say male but its really to young to tell

first shot looks like a male judging by the slope at the head

last shot looks like a female with the more rounded body lol im no help last Saum I bought I was confident was a male low and behold three months later its definatly a female

and i beleive him to be male. im almost positive.
