Green Terror sexing

Picked up this Green Terror on the weekend and it’s a good 7-8 inch in size. I think it’s male but just wanted to get your thoughts.

Acara looks like it has HITH though. What is ph and nitrates?

male rivulatus, the pattern on the dorsal and tail are good indicators for males

Thank you all, I was leaning towards male aswell he was in a group of large green terrors and seemed to be dominating all of them the acara has definately had a run in with someone I bought new bog wood and rearranged the tank when I put the green terror in and I guess the acaras annoyed someone.
