My GT has'nt been eating for 2 days and from everything i can tell is bloated..

I moved him out of the bigger tank into the clown tank because i thought the higher temps might help and didnt want anything spreading in the big tank..

Should i move him out into a 10g and start bloat treatment? I dont think i should nuke the clowns w/ him..

Thanks for the help i havent had a fish w/ bloat yet..

I will post a picture soon.

Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) would be my 1st course of treatment if it's actually bloat (or constipation). 1 TBS per 5 gals is what I'd use. Wait for other opinions though obviously. I honestly don't think Epsom would be a problem to the Loaches, it'd clear their intestines out well though. You have to decide whether the stress of moving the GT to a 10 g is worth it, it wouldn't be to me & I'd treat the tank he's in now. But everyone's opinion varies :-)

Good advise! I agree with TP.

Thanks for the quick replies! much appreciated

Heres the pic i promised, not quite scale popping but still seems bloated to me considering not having eaten/sulking for so long...

EDITED: Also does a mouth popping motion every once in a while...

No, Epsom isn't the same as aquarium salt. There's no good reason in the world to use aquarium salt in your freshwater tanks unless you're treating for ich. Epsom salt is in the pharmacy dept at Walmart, they use it for swelling, constipation, etc in humans.
I can't tell a whole lot from the picture but I do see his (or her maybe) color is way faded so he's clearly a stressed fish.
Before you do anything else, test your water for ammonia/nitrites (must both be '0') and test for nitrates also (ideally below 20 in a perfect world).
