Hi guys. I recently picked up a GT. After inspecting him closer I noticed he looks like a GT suffering from internal parasites. I've been treating with PraziPro for a week and a half now. I have seen him poop a couple times and it has been healthy normal looking brown poop until last night. After I figured he was healthy, I fed some frozen hikari bloodworms and that's what it looked like he pooped, but they were a tan coloring. I've never seen my other fish poop back out blood worms. I'm at a loss here. I'm not sure if this guy is healthy or sick. Also, he does eat like a champ. Any advice appreciated. Btw, I tired getting a pic of what he was pooping last night. They were hanging there for a while but he kept moving, however I did get pics of him and his belly after they had come out.

I typically feed blood worms to get them eating again after treating for parasites. Hopefully someone can help. For some reason, it seems green terrors are prone to internal parasites. I know I've lost my fair share of juvies to internal parasites... nothing over 5" though.

He looks stressed. A lot of GT that big IME kinda has that sunken tummy look. Male Festaes get that too. But fins tell me he's not ecstatic about life.

Just keep doing what you're doing but givem a break of meds...I would alternate each week. And I like to keep temps at high 80's when they are sick. LOL, I keep my tanks at 85'ish anyways.

GL dude.

I agree with Calihawk. My GT looks exactly like yours and he's healthy and eats like a champ. Take a break from the meds and see if his attitude doesn't get a little better.
