Green Terror (silver) laid eggs

Hey,

Earlier tonight I noticed my female green terror guarding a cave guarding a cave, I was surprised there's eggs there.

She's been fanning them, do they always do this with eggs or only if they're actually breeding?

He's hanging around a fair bit and chases the danios away. I haven't seen the guy go in and fan them; I read somewhere they take over sometimes, is this true?

3 eggs are white, I know that means they've grown fungus or something along those lines. They've been there about 7 hours, is it to soon for them to be turning white?

I don't think they've done it this time, maybe they need some more time to learn. Any help/answers would be great though.

It just depends on who will fan them My male GT would fan them and pretty much take care of them all, but every fish is diff. Don't know how long it takes for them to turn white.

Most fish it will take a few times for them to get it just right. By the second or third time, they should know what their doing by then. It'll take a few days before they become wigglers then a few more days until free swimming. Congrtaulations though!!!!!!!!!!

I think I might have been wrong about them, she moved the eggs and there's wriggling on them =D

I wish I could, she's put them beside a rock where you can only see them from the side of the tank. My camera wouldn't be able to get a good enough shot even if they were right in front of the glass lol.

I'll try getting some shots of the fry if/when they hatch though
