Despite how farmbred and common they are, I still think they look neat. How will one do with the following tankmates in a 75g?

Two 6" delhezi bichirs
Two 4" indo dats
One 5" senegal bichir
One 4.5" weeksii bichir
One 4" flagtail prochilodus

yeah I think those will grow faster than the green terror. IMO the green terror is the slowest growing fish, especially for how big that it gets. I had to put mine in a 29 gallon to try and bulk him up because in my 75 all the other cichlids would outgrow and outcompete him for food.

So unless you got a good sized one that would at least be the size of 4 inches + (and maybe got rid of the dat) then yeah.

I don't think they are too aggro and they wont put off as much bioload as a lot of other cichlids (mostly since they grow so slow and aren't that big), but you would maybe have to plan on a new home for the dat I think. Those get pretty big I thought.

But as far as aggression I think the GT would be fine along with the electric blue dempsey, both are pretty mild mannered cichlids in the semi aggro category.

i think that with all those bichirs you will cave a pretty crowded tank on your hands...and if you are gonna put a green terror and an ebjd you will have some territory issues.

I would say you're tank will be more than full as it is. Most GT's would be fine tempermant wise but some can be very aggressive. I would just stick with what you have, don't know that it would really look very good with the other fish you have either. I think what you have will look good together but I don't see the point of putting a fish that looks completely different from all the others you have.

You'll need to upgrade pretty soon. Datnoids can attain 45cm even in aquaria (though they grow slow), and all of those bichirs will reach at least 40cm at adulthood. Also, an exceptional male GT can reach 12" (30cm). I think you'd need at least a 150g tank for the entire community.

yea once the dats grow to a ridiculous size too big for my tank i'll sell them to the members here, and those bichirs that i have stay around 12" adult length, and they're pretty much stationary and dont use tank space much.
