I added a green terror to my tank today. I have 3 super red sevs 3 surina geophagus 2 long fin gold rams 1 long fin blue ram 1 spotted raphael and 1 Endlicheri birchir. Think my tank will be okay? They are in a 55. All fish are 4 inches or less. Eventually the ones that out grow the tabk will be added to my 125.

Super tight. Have a feeling you'll be using the 125 sooner than you think. Gl though! All really pretty fish.

It depends... some Green Terrors can get really aggressive than you thought.
Two weeks ago I just sold my 4 inches one who fought against my 4 inches Dovii and 6 inches male umbee . He was not afraid of them.

Lol I wish. My gar in the 125 would tear up anything I have in that 55. Worst comes to worst I can just put the fish that aren't handling the gt well into my 29. Any idea which fish my have the hardest time?

Got a feeling your endli will eat your Rams once it gets bigger and that's a lot of fish for a 55 imo.

It depends on sizes really but even a small GT probably will be a threat to your rams (as will the bichir). GTs tend to be quite passive when small but when they hit about 6", their aggression and predatory nature kicks in pretty fast. IMO you should house the rams somewhere else, other than that your plan seems fine.

My female GT is in a 125 with a firemouth, severum some raphael cats, giant danios and they all get along great. I just recently tried to add a jurupari eartheater and she relentlessly beat on him. Removed her for 24hours in a 40B with the lights off for a night moved decro around and put her back in still she HATED that eartheater with every fiber of her soul. So he's in a 75g now. I'd say GT's are ticking time bombs you never know what's going to happen.

I find GT's don't do well with red spotted severum I think it has to do with coloring. They think its a rival male or something since they are the same color as the tail of a mature male. Just a theory though. I have not been able to make it work long term.
