I have a 90 gallon tank.I am thinking of placing a single Green terror male with some non cichlids complementary fish(like plecos and guppies). How is the idea? Will a pair of Green terrors look better than the single?

The GT will eventually eat all the guppies.
I happen to like tanks with more than 1 of any species, seems more natural to me, as opposed to a hodgepodge of random species, of course others may differ.
My tank, a 180 started out with about a dozen Gambusia (similar to guppies).

a few weeks I added Andinoacara coerleopunctatus (a smaller cousin of the G.T.s)
Within a few days all the Gambusia were MIA (eaten).

The Plecostomus added same day as the Andinoacara is still doing fine, it was a little larger than the cichlids, so tank mates need to be at least similar in size to cichlids, small fish like guppies are snacks for them.

I’d go with something bigger then guppies. Most like to use tall bodied tetras. And that does work well.
And plecos do fine too as long as there is plenty of room for the one you choose. My male fought with my pleco once it hit 11”. Just not enough room for them both to be happy.
My favorite none cichlid to keep with mine are rainbow fish. So colorful and never had any losses or injuries from the terrors.

I don't see a need for a pleco. The GT will scour the substrate for food, so no worries about uneaten food. Stick with a male GT and lots of larger dithers, columbian tetras or black skirt tetras have a tall enough body not to be eaten.

What's rainbow fish?A tetra?

Won't keep the guppies then

I plan on doing so. Thanks for advice
