I put a pair of 2 1/2" Green Terror in with my Pair of Blue Eyes and a 2 1/2" Texas and various others, and the Green Terrors got gang raped. I expected them to take care of themselves for a couple days while I got the bigger tank ready.

This is a 30 long.

The Terrors are recovering in my 55 now.

If I do a 75 multi cichlid, will these fish ever cohab?

I'm going to do mad plants and hiding spots.

I know that with the festae and the texas and such eventually when they get big they will have to go into the 135, but I figured I could have a decent mix while they were still small.

Am I being ridiculous?

a 180 would be perfect because gt's like any other aggressive cichlids get crazy when they spawn:D

You could get away with just the GTs in the 75, but I doubt you'll be able to cram much else in there.

in my experience gt's are wusses til they get a little older. in a bigger tank it may work, not in a 30.

Same in my experiences.
All bluff till they hit about 8 inches.
