has anyone kept a green terror with bichirs? its a 120 with lots of hiding places with one ornate, endelrichi, albino an green bichir.

proubly to aggressive and if its a true green terror then i'd say its way to aggressive might work in a bigger ank but it would be risky

Generaly bichir should not be kept with cichlids that have a tendancy to be agressive ie Green terrors, red devils etc they didn't get those names for no reason-Anne

LIFE IS LIKE GAMBLING,Its like when your crossing the streets ,hoping not to be dragged by a 10 wheeler truck.hehehe...but seriously...why gamble the life of your fish, its fate is in your hands gudluck...but im thinking it might be sooner or later...hehehe

I've got 2 GTs in my tank, a male and female actually. There is a little senegalus and a delhezi. No aggression seen yet, and there is a bunch of other fish though too.

ive had a 10inch midas coexist with a 14inch birchir in a 100gfor 2 years until the midas died, i then added 3 more birchirs and a small flowerhorn, when the flowerhorn grew up he was fine. totaly ingnored the birchirs. i have had cichlids for awhile and 99 percent you should NOT put with birchirs. but there is exceptions, and if u raise a smaller one with larger brichirs in a big tank u should be ok as long as you take the rightsteeps <well fed, hiding spots, etc.> since then i have had to take the 100 down , now the flowerhorn lives with one birchir peacefuly in a 75. the other birchirs are in a species tank now

I keep GT's with my polys.

I had to sell the two females I had because they were the only ones causing problems for the polys.

The males I kept keep scrapping amongst themselves.

I have two Senegals and one Ornate in with an Argentea. He shows no aggression towards them at all, and he is pretty aggressive.

Sorry for the thread dredge, but considering starting a new 50g with a lone GT and 2 senegalus, all going in as juvies. What would you guys say the % chance of it working out be in say the first 2 years and then after that? Would have a decent network of driftwood, at least until the GT needs more swimming space.
