I bought a green terror a month ago and he came down with hex . I have been trying to treat him with metro laced food with not much success. So I am going to try to eliminate the green terror and start over with another fish. My question is if the infected fish is removed how long will it take for the protozoa/hex to be gone from the tank with out a host to feed on? Also could I treat the water column with metro to ensure any trace of hex is gone?
