Hi,
I am Michael, from Hamburg, Germany and
I am really impressed with the great knowledge of fishkeepers here at MFK.
I would really appreciate if you like to answer my question.
I would like to add a male Green Terror, about 3 inches long to my 100g tank (60x20×20).
It is home for a young pair of nics, 6 and 4 inches, and 8 red rainbow fish.
They get along pretty fine although there is some chasing when the cichlids are breeding, but nothing serious.
What do you think about my idea?
And can I add a kissing gourami too?
He is the same size as the GT.
Have a nice day!

Welcome aboard

In my opinion, a green terror would be hit or miss. My personal experience is, except for wild green terrors (A. rivulatus) I've had, which really were terrors, most I've had got along with a good variety of fish. In other people's tanks I've seen them work with a wide variety of fish, including nics, including nic pairs, but I've also seen where GTs that work with a certain species in one tank doesn't work with that same species in another tank.

I've seen some huge kissing gouramis that would crowd the nics in your tank. Don't know how long it took them to get that big.

Hi,
I do better stick with my quite peaceful community.
Maybe I will be rewarded.
The fish are growing bigger, just a matter of time.
