cichlid city
Right now i have a 5 or 6 inch green terror in a 55 gallon with two reddevils that arent even 4 inches yet.I know i will eventually have to move the devils, but on average how big does a gt get in a 55 gallon tank thats 48 inches long.I do water changes every week and a half and his diet is pretty much cichlid gold.

I've asked a lot of people about this that knew more than I did about GT's when I got mine. The guy who's opinion I trusted the most (he's on this site) said he's seen some huge ones at 13"-14" but 10" give or take seems to be the norm for the average GT. Rivulatus do get about 8" from everything I've reasearched. But gold or white saums is what most of us are buying from PetsMart, etc nowadays and those get bigger. I'd suggest to at least give him a 48" x 18" footprint.

you have some new red devils ... i thought you would get some again someday..
