hello i have just started with keeping south American cichlids. right now i have a few parrot cichlids and i was wondering if i could get a green terror.

Like erk419 said, depends on tank size. It can easily be done. I can keep Midas with peaceful fish in my 190, and Green Terrors ain't that bad. But in a 55 gallon I doubt it would work.

Green Terrors are not that stupid, they can figure out who they can touch and who they can't touch at all.I own a 4 inch Green Terror, that goes after only certain fishes in my tank, other then that the GT is fine with everyone else.As for having parrot cichlids, they don't really have big mouths at all,so it maybe risky that they can't defend themselves that much. Its a hit or a miss with any fish you put into the tank, also I hope your fish tank is at least 55 gallons or above to do this sort of thing. If you want a GT that wont grow as large like the males do,look for green markings by the face that will tell you its a female, while the male has blue markings.

the tank size is 150 gal.

a GT needs at least 75G's for proper housing but a 55 can be tempo but your tank its a easy "go for it"

ok thnx another question would be ok to get a sevrum

No prob, but the Green Terror will still be the most aggressive of them, so like my previous reply keep your eye on him.
How many parrots do you have? If you have too many you may become overstocked.
