So what should i feed them? Any recomendations? :grinno:

Don't power feed. Feed a good high quality pellet as it's main diet and supplement with a variety of other foods like krill, shrimp, bloodworms and maybe some veggies if he'll take them. Let it grow at it's natural pace. Doing lots of water changes will help pick up the pace. :)

Alright! Thanks alot bro! ::D

Also will depened on if it's a male or female. Both sexes seem to grow pretty quick up to the three inch mark, my male slowed a little bit then but my females seem to hardly grow at all in comparison. The male has grown about 4 inches in 8 months now and is about 6 1/2 inches. The larger female I have has grown maybe an inch in 4 months, and the smaller female maybe put on an inch at most in the past couple months and then decided she was ready to breed at only 3 1/2 inches.

My female grew from 1.5" in Nov. to nearly 6" to date. A good, varying diet plus clean water usually works on all fish...

Genetics also come into play. I got two at the same size. I placed one in a 54g and one in a 75g. In one month's time, the one in the 75 was pushing four inches while the one in the 54 was only 1.5 inches. Same diet, same weekly 50% water change. Both have been together in the 75 for three months now. The smaller one has put on a lil growth while the larger one has nearly doubled in size again.
