I keep an 8" Oscar with 2 3" Green Terrors in my 400 gallon and have never had any problems so far. All depends on the particular fish though.

lol... To the OP: no a 75g will not house them all for long considering a pair of convicts could readily take over a 75g let alone a pair of GT's.

this isn't true an oscar is an predator and will pick off any thing they can . convicts breed like crazy . gts do breed often but you never know they might not breed at all if they dont feel like its safe to spawn there.

there is a big difference between housing them in a 400 gal and housing them in a 75 gal lol. but you are right, it really does depend on the fish.

If you are wondering if it can work, yes in the right size tank and unfortunately your tank is not it unless you have a 200+ to move them to.

I have a 10" oscar with 3" and 6-7" gt in 125g and they get along BUT ive never had this mix in anything smaller but i would think it wouldnt be a problem aggression wise just overcrowding wise. (does that make sense?)

It could work for a bit but overall the tank really not big enough. Once the gt lay eggs the aggression is high. Mostly likely the GT's would kill the Oscar. Might be able to get it to work if you have lots, i mean lots of space to hide but doing that takes swiming space away from the fish. 3 fish that get 10+ inches in a 75 gallon going to make the tank look cramped. IMO a oscar by himself in a 75 is barely big enough.

Im not gonna get a gt pair just the one that i have now... Just picked up a little oscar..... One of the brown (wild) ones. They were fine together at first, the gt just ignored him but i woke up this morning and the oscar was nipped a lil, but not much
