Green Texas Cichlid?

Hello,

Just wanted to have my Green Texas Cichlid verified. Is it indeed a green Texas and what sex if you are able to tell?

Sure looks like Herichthys carpintis, and with no black botch in the dorsal, more likely a male.

That lateral line pattern is questionable...

Looks more like a red Texas project. Skins is a bit orange, no pearls coming into the face ( which almost all pure carpintis should have ), and pearls not consistent on body. Also that black dots going across the body indicates it's not pure.
