I have the green water problem because my catfish keeps playing with the pump and so the filter only runs 12 hours instead of 24, I covered it up so he stopped, so the water's getting less green, I can still see the entire 3 feet down though. I was just wondering how many people have green water at the moment and how deep down there's visibility? Luckily my pond will be crystal clear in 2 weeks :)

No, I have a very large bog and pond filter and the bacteria amount normally keeps the algae away, and make that 3 weeks, my 2.5 foot catfish just puked because I gave him some cheese when I just got him to make him eat, never do that.

Green water is a natural occurance in a pond, especially when they go through any sort of curing phase or process with water and temp changes. There is a difference between unsightly and unhealthy. Test your water and try adjusting the PH and KH. Also, if your pond is in full sun, the addition of surface covering plants will help with the green coloring of the water. Can you put the pump/filter in a cage like a milk crate or something so the catfish quits jacking with it? LOL
