Green Water

My water in my 36 planted just pretty much turned green over night! I have been overdosing Flourish Excell and doing water changes but NOTHING is working!! Any ideas?

I would lower the amount of dosing and limit the sunlight down to around 8hours untill it gets better, maybe a good initial water change will help take some minerals out feeding the algae.

Yes and No...

You need enough plants in the tank to use up the extra nutrients, otherwise, its going to be feeding the Algae that uses up the extra nutrients causing algae / green water...

Eitherway, i do agree, cut back on the amount of ferts your dosing, since i'm guessing its the extra dosage thats causing problems...
