Has anyone ever used a Green House as a Fish Room?

Assuming Algae Blooms would be a problem, you could still counter it with live plants and a shade system. Fish would probably benefit and thrive from natural UVA/UVB lighting.

Temperature control would be expensive to fit the needs of a fish room, but in the long run would be cost-effective as you wouldn't have to heat the tanks.

You wouldn't have to worry about humidity damaging the room.

Has anyone tried it or might have concerns about doing something like this?

I was considering building a fish room out of cinder blocks, but now I am considering this as it will be more aesthetically pleasing and economical in the long run..

Ideas?

this should work....i dont see y not just the algae would be a problem...and the temp in the winter...

I think Ive seen pictures of hatcheries that were basically greenhouses. It would be a great idea in florida or socal where heat is free, but challenging further north. If you could find a natural or renewable or cheap way to heat it it would be great

I think the northern parts would have problem. I know that some keep insulated sheds, but not greenhouse.

Maybe solar panels on the roof of your house?
