Hi, i'm from the central coast in nsw australia. Me and my girlfriend never would've expected to be obsessed with fish until we bought a juvenile pair of oscars at our local pet store 6 months ago and we've been hooked ever since. Our oscars El Vira (5inches) and La Vey (7-8inches) are our first and most loved fish they swiftly outgrew thier original tank ( a 2ft/16gallon) and are now living comfortably in a 6ft 95gallon tank. We also have a pair of jack dempseys (3+2inches) which i'm relatively certain are m+f and a quickly maturing red devil/midas named hellboy (3-4inches), a vieja synspilum (4-5inches), a chocolate pleco named hercules (5-6inches), a baby texas (1inch), 1 male bristlenose+2 females, 5 smaller clown loaches&last but not least our newest addition a baby flowerhorn <1inch.
Although our american tank is our masterpiece we also have a 5ft african set up with a breeding pair of rustys, a male electric blue, a male dragons blood, a male blue dolphin, 2 synodontis and a whole community of new rusty babies! Also in our original oscar tank we have a female convict&her partner who we aren't quite sure if he's 100% convict but he does the trick they are onto their 2nd lot of fry in as many months..
