Hi folks.
My name is Ryan and I'm from Pretoria in South Africa.
I've been keeping fish for about 3 years, I'm particularly fond of Tanganyikan cichlids (especially L. ocellatus and P. nigripinnis), South American dwarf cichlids (especially the Laetacara genus) and I've just got a tank going for some yellow form P. pulcher.
On the photography side, I basically got into it because I wanted to take better photo's of my fish.
I've got a Nikon D70s and 2 lenses, the 18-70mm kit lens and a Sigma f/2.8 105mm macro lens. Next thing on the list is an SB-600 flash. It's been on the list for quite some time though, so I have no idea when I'll get it. You can see some of my photo's on my flickr profile: www.flickr.com/photos/rcyza (mostly random stuff, photo's of cats, landscapes, spiders and some fish).
It's really nice to find a site that really combines these two great hobbies, I'm looking forward to many interesting conversations.
Kind regards,
Ryan
