Hi, folks!

Bigmamafish, here! I have one coldwater FW tank which is 20-gallons-high, not exactly a monster fish tank, but I am getting a 65-gallon, as well. Still not gigantic monster, but certainly the largest tank I've had thus far. I also have a small outdoor pond, which is presently frozen over for the winter.

I have three goldfish which will eventually grow quite large in the 65-gallon, and I am looking to rehome two hi-fin banded sharks which are currently very tiny (about two inches each). Eventually, they will go into my 65 gallon, but I know they will need to be rehomed to a very large tank later on.

If anyone here would be interested in taking them, please PM me.

Meanwhile, I hope you will welcome me here, as I browse your forum and learn what I can about the bigger fish that are being kept in aquaria and ponds.

Welcome to MFK!

HI BIGMAMAFISH!
AND WELCOME TO MFK!

Of course we welcome everyone, as long as you are passionate about how you keep your animals... someone is always willing to help.

Thanks, folks!

I'll continue to look around some more, get to know the forum.

CURRENT AQUARIA:

20-gallon-high coldwater, freshwater
live floating hornwort, riccia, water sprite
live mossballs on substrate
small aggregate gravel substrate, natural
artificial stem plants
8 White Cloud Minnows
6 yellow Glo-fish Danios
2 red Glo-fish Danios
6 Zebra Danios
5 Rosy Barbs
2 Chinese Hi-fin sharks
3 Weather loaches (dojos)
1 trapdoor snail
3 Red Cherry Shrimp
Filtration: AquaClear 50 hob
4" airstone powered by external pump
No heater

Two large feeding tubs in shop serve as homes for goldfish:

1 calico shubunkin
1 orange/white comet
1 orange/black speckled comet

These goldies, plus the barbs and hi-fins will soon be housed in a 65-gallon coldwater tank with 2 Aquaclear 110 hobs for filtration. I plan to get 6 new weather loaches (dojos) to live there, and more trapdoor snails. Maybe a dwarf crayfish or two.

Would like to try my hand at freshwater clams.
