Hello everyone, I've been lurking around the forum for the past few days and decided to join. I've been keeping fish for over 15 years now (have had aquariums since I was 6-7 and have been maintaining my own since I was 10 or so) and have had various freshwater and brackish fish including many small tropical varieties, several fancy and common gold fish and green spotted puffers. I also at once had an awesome rope fish but sadly he passed away in a 14 day power outage during an ice storm where I lost several of my fish. I'm beginning to stray away from the fancy goldfish and delve into some new varieties. I currently have 3 tanks set up and am about to finally get a long awaited 55 gallon and would like a bit of insight into stocking but will post that in the appropriate section. I have a 20 gallon that is home to a male and female green spotted puffers and some black mollies. These little puffers are only approx 2 inches long and will eventually be moved to a larger tank when they grow. Then I have a 30 gallon that is home to 2 goldfish, a lion head and calico fantail. In a temporary 10 gallon I have my first little 3 inch Senegal bichir. Soon he will be calling a 55 gallon home and will have tank mates.
