Hi, Old fish lover, All animal lover... new 250 Gal Tank owner.
So new, I've been planning on obtaining one... and I finally picked it up today (eBay is my friend).
I dammed off a creek that runs by my house for my fish entertainment for a few months (very nice, but it hasn't rained in 2 weeks and has been 100+, so it all dried up... *pout*)
Now, I need to buy the guts to my tank. I'd love suggestions on the best brand/type of filters. I'm leaning toward splitting things... 2 filters (yes, it's one tank, but it's 6 feet long).
Oh, and I'm going Fresh water for now (Not brave enough to go saltwater yet) (plus, 50 Tetra's are fun...)
Not sure if there's more information needed... but I wanted to say hi and greet all comments and suggestions.
I do have one friend that referred me to here... He's Nate, and I'm not sure what name he uses on here (Cobra, Viper, Nate... ), but he's in PA and has so many suggestions (including turning my pool into an aquarium)... he's a bit excentric.
