Well I have been a member for some time now but until now I have just browsed the site periodically. I have always appreciated the photos and forums that MFK has to offer. I have found some of the info useful as well so I figured maybe I should show a little more support.
I have been keeping fish for about the last 10 years and the breeds have changed a few times over the years.
One of my favorites was the pair of clown knives that I had for nearly 3 1/2 years. They were doing great until one day the larger turned to it's side then died a day later then other went a couple days later. Never did figure out why eiter!!! I tested the water and it was good on all levels and they were well fed & taken care of. I miss them most of all.
Now I am into cichlids again. More speficially the Jewels, I have several blood reds and three of them are really nice. They stay bright red all the time. The others turn it on and off and never really get all that red.
