Thought I would say hello before i started posting...Came over here from oscarfishlover.com...looking forward to checking this place out.
My current setup is just one Tiger Oscar, he's just over 10 1/2 inches right now in a 65 gallon, so I guess that would make it around 62-63 actual volume. (it's an older tank). I've had him for about a year or so now...previously I also had an 11 inch common plec but I rehomed him to an indoor pond due to size constraints.
Right now I use an Emperor 400 with the biowheels removed and replaced with sponge, and a fluval 350 to work in tandem with it. Before I simply used 2 Emperors.
I plan on upgrading to a 90 gallon bowfront for the oscar within the next few months, and eventually will use the 65 gallon for...well, I haven't decided yet...maybe hagfish or lampreys.
I also am interested in english bulldogs and have plans on breeding my 2 year old male. He's currently 'in training' for show, although he doesn't seem all that thrilled about the whole process, to be honest. He's rather be eating chicken.
