Hey guys I recently got a trio of Tocantins Kelberi from Imperial Tropicals. I first want to give them a shoutout because I love these fish. But my question is why do 2 of them have a grayish color across the tops of their backs? I got 1 of them a week ago and he is perfectly full of color. I got the other 2 in on Friday and they are eating, but they have that gray color on their backs. I'm assuming it's a stress related issue because of the move. However, they are not showing any other signs of stress and no other signs of ill health. No dark stripes, no hiding, no nothing. What do you guys think? I think I saw the same thing on the 1st one when he first was settling in but I'm not too sure. Thanks for your input!

Got any pics? Would love to see these kels

They look fine but what are your water parameters including temperature?

Idk at the moment but that washed our color on their backs is normal?
For recently added fish yes imo, cichlids colors change with their moods and stress. But if you're concerned check your water parameters.

Good looking bass. Imperial have great bass this thread makes me want to get another three to go with my pair.
