greyish stuff on sand

hi recently I just saw some grey stuff on the sand and its more and more now. do any1 know whats these stuff? looks like mold

It just looks like debris, IMO. Next time you do a water change, hit it with the gravel vacuum.

I tried vacuum them but it doesn't work they too heavy.

I bet you dont stir your substrate really well each water change???

Coz that from my experience starts when sand substrate is over an inch thick and isn’t stired thoroughly enough creating that mucky gray color from anaerobic gasses froming below...

So either vacum it out and give it a good rinse before putting back in, or stir the whole tank well and do a lrge water change... should sort out the problem...

um it just started last week, I never had these problem before. the stuff is kinda heavy to vacuum it out.

Could something have fallen into your tank, is it only in one area ?

What do you feed ?
