ive seen tanks that have what appears to be grass on covering the bottom of the tank. i really like the look of it and wanted to know how to set up a tank with that and where to get it. does it go over sand? how does it work?

You need appropriate lighting to get groundcovers to do well. Co2 is nice as well for good even growth. What is your lighting?

i plan on getting it in the new tank im gonna get so i dont know what kinda lighting it will have. im waiting for a good deal on craigslist.

what do you reccomend?

oh and im not totally experienced with live plants so how would i go about putting Co2 in the tank

kudos on helping me find info on the grass i want skools

thanks for the info top shot. i am going to be getting some good lighting to do the drawf hair grass. i will only be doing 1/3 of my 120g. so a 3 bulb 24" light should cost around 50 bucks.

no problem :D

im liking the dwarf hair to, i might go with that as well

im might get some dwarf sag
if i can get some
