grouping arowanas...

Hey everyone, bear with me on this lol...
Presently I have 3 arowanas in my 150 gallon tank- (2) 14in black arows and one 11in silver...I want to make a larger group of arows so I just purchased a 10in silver and now there's aggression problems from the 11in silver arow-he started picking on all the others! I know that they can be aggressive toward one another-but my three got along fine-I'm wondering if its a territorial issue now, but just to play it safe I temporarily moved the new gal to a 20 gallon tank and the aggression was gone...I'm almost positive that the aggressive silver is male...the new silver looks like a female so not sure if he was acting that way because of its sex or just territory...
Anyways, where I'm going with this was that I wanted to know if I got another one to make a group of 5 which I've heard is the way to go...would it be ok? Has anyone out there encountered this situation, and what did you do?!?!? And I'm planning on moving everyone thats in the 150 to the 180, and the 180 to the new 300 I just got....

id try put them in the 300 and see if that works.

Make it a group of 6-7 in your 300G. It may reduce aggression a bit but ensure top filtration as bio-load would be very high.

silvers tend to be more aggressive towards other silvers and less aggressive towards other type of fish. the way you have your tank setup is like having just 2 silvers. the blacks are totally ignore by the silver. its like the blacks are not there. i used to have 2 big silvers with 2 blacks and just like i said they don't care about the blacks.
