Alright, here's an idea I just had that I'd like to get opinions on. At the end of the summer, I'll be heading off to college, and it looks like the dorm I'll be staying in has a rule stating that I'll only be allowed a single ten-gallon tank. Now obviously, this limits the kinds of fish I can get, because I'll need to either keep fish that can remain in the ten gallon (not very many) or some how get rid of fish once they out-grow the tank. This is where my idea comes in. Would anyone be interested in a type of "grow-out" service, where people can request that I would go pick up a certain type of fish, keep it in the ten gallon for a while, then once it reaches a size where it would be appropriate for a larger tank, ship it to the individual who requested it. Let me be clear - I'm not looking to use this as a form of steady income, or really even any income at all. I'm just trying to think of a way that I could keep different types of interesting fish, and help out others who possibly don't want to deal with such a small sized grow-out tank. Now, seeing as it's about 3:00 AM here and I've been awake for twenty hours straight, feel free to call me a moron if this is a bad idea. Just thought I'd throw it out there though.
