What is the max inches a fish can be in a 60 gallon tank? I have a new aro along with 2 endlichiris and was wondering how many inches do they need to be b4 I absolutely have to put them in the bigger tank ? I would like to keep them in the 60 until its absolutely time upgrade them because I have larger fish in the one they will go into ..... Would it be around 14"? Or more or less?

id say less. its probably 12" width yes? so I would say no more than 12" but I moved my silver out of a 55 gallon when it was around 9"

What happened to the 100g growout you asked about last week?

I was supposed to buy it from a guy 2 days after I bought the arowana then the guy decided he didn't wanna sell it right now .... So now I'm on a hunt on craigslist again for one I'm asking this in case I can't find one by the time it gets to big for the 60 gallon I shoulda had a 100 gal right now but like I said the guy backed out of the deal

May I ask why you would get a fish you aren't ready for? Was this an impulse buy?

Well the bichers you dont really need to watch out for cause the aro will out grow them no problem. But aros usually grow about 1 inch a month minimum which is very rare but they grow 2-3 inches a month regularly so 12 inches and if the aro is 4 inches you have a good three months before you need to upgrade if the tank is 12 inches wide.
