Looking for some opinions on my grow out tank. I currently have my 3-4" Kelbono in a 25g tank to grow out until I get my buddy's 140g. In the meantime i sold my old grow out tank (120g - 4x2x2) when I sold all my peacock bass. The 120g has been sold for over a month but not picked up yet and the person seems to be in no rush since I haven't heard from them in 2 weeks now.
I was thinking of setting it up in the meantime to grow out the Kelbono. My question is, will this be a bad idea in terms of feeding? He's currently on guppy feeders but does show some interest in pellets. At the size he is, do you think he'll have trouble finding the feeders in a 120g? I was going to add more than normal to accommodate that but would like the make sure I'm not making a mistake by bumping him up in size so fast.

Thanks in advance

He won't have a hard time finding feeders, eventually he'll bump into them and eat em. Prepared foods however, hell have a hard time finding that.

ya i would think he'll find feeders no sweat it only a 4ft tank.... and he is 4" he shouldnt have any trouble finding them but yea finding pellets and such he may have a harder time to find.... likely be easier for him to find pellets and such if you have others in the tank to "help" search ya know ...

I would keep him in the smaller tank and get him off feeders and onto prep foods. Then transfer.
