Grow out tank

I had some one inch Balzanii in a 26g (24") to grow out. I did many water changes and fed four time a day to promote good growth. Still they grew slow.

I moved them to the 75g with other 2-3" gymnos and they now are growing much faster.

Same thing for some oblongum babies I have.

Any thoughts on this??

I had some Balzanii in a 10 gallon growout when they were all less than an inch. 6 of them to be exact. Always scared and were not outgoing when it was feeding time. I recently moved them into a 75 with the stock in my sig and they are front and center all the time. Seems they are more comfortable in a community setting.
