Curious to find out what the grow rate of a 3 inches L25, and at what size it will slow down and it grown rate. Anyone know ?

I use to keep those 9" L25 many yrs back and they dun seem growing for 2 yrs or I didnt notice. May start L25 at 3", hopes for your professional advise. Thanks

Agreed. Mine hasn't grown much in the year that I have had him. He's grown right at an inch or so.

I kind of compare before, L24 grow faster than L25. But I really dun understand, if their grow rate is such slow, how r they going to survive in the wild .... Or because we lack of something, they have in the wild which causes the slow growing :(

L114 growth rate is alot of faster, 1 yrs you can see alot of different. So no worries if u are keeping L114 :)

i'd agree with that, 114 do seem to grow a lot faster than L25's, but you're probably still only talking a couple of inches over a year, so still slow compared to commons etc

I read an article and they compared two different groups one was kept in a blackwater type inviroment the other was kept in a clear water enviroment and the one that was kept in black water grew a bit faster and bigger then there counterparts. They were all the same size starting off.
