100 peacock bass fries for $ 99. Free shipping to anywhere in the continental US.

200 for only $ 169 no shipping charges, as well.

40% discount if picked up.

If you have grown fries of egg bearing cichlids like Discus and/or Angels, this should be very easy to do. You don't even need the parents' body slime to grow them. GLS bbs works just fine and after 3 weeks you may start switching to your choice of powdered feed.

Offer good till Thursday, April 20, 2006 only.

Sorry, the forum is not allowing me to post pictures at this time.

I have an older batch pictured in the PB forum under the topic: "Baby Monsters in the Spring".
These newly free swimming fries are already as big as the fries that are one week older.

A pic of the 3 days old fries....Sorry these little boogers don't know how to pose for pictures yet:)

Sure! Send the 99 cents over, and as you say, there will be no shipping!:D

I'll keep the fish, charge you $1 storage fee per day until you collect your fish.:)

Seriously, it's a minimum of 100 fries for $ 99.

I would love to do this, I am considering. I am waiting for "Instant Monsters, just add water".

Probably either monos or ocellaris.....only prob. is that pbass are 'hard' to raise below 4". So it could turn out not to much fun. If they were 1/4" or AT LEAST had their yolk sacs absorbed might consider it.

These are Florida butterfly peacocks (Ocellaris).

When these babies go free swimming their egg sacs are gone and they start eating bbs.

These babies started off free swimming at around a quarter inch. The previous batch I had were a bit smaller when they started to swim but on their way to a half inch already after 10 days.

They are not that hard to raise. If you've done it with Angels or Discus, you can do it. However, it's not for beginners, you have to know how to take care of egglaid fries.

They ship with some water already. With these ones all you need to add is a heater set to a minimum of 82 degrees F to minimize problems.

But I like your idea. Next time I offer these, it will go by the title "Instant Monsters, just add more water".:grinyes:
