i bought a new 1 inch baby oscar yesterday, he has the coolest coloration i have ever seen! but hes way to small to put in with my other oscar, so i am growing him alone in a 29 gallon tank till he is bigger. what foods should i feed him to grow as quick as possible?

Just some quality pelets like Omega One or Hikari.
Then add some variety to his diet. Crickets, meal worms, and since he's still small.. Bloodworms are good too.

But dont overfeed him. They will act hungry even when their stomach is full. Its best to feed them 3 times a day when babies, but just enough so that they are still asking for more.

BTW, what size tank is your other Oscar in. And if he's too much older, you could just wind up with fights.

With good water quality and plenty of food, it'll be big before you know it.

Yeah just give him a varied diet. In no time he will be a monster.

his coloration is orange and black like my other, but instead of mostly black with orange stripes its opposite, mostly orange with black stripes
