Growing out a silver..

what would be the best food to growout a silver currently at 4in to approx 10in so he can be moved to my main tank?
Do they grow faster on some foods than others?

It will grow up fast no matter what you do. Why hurry the process? Feed them everyday then when they are juveniles. Bigger fish can go a few days without food. I feed mine every 3rd day and never stuff them. For feeding see my post on the jar and other posts. They eat the same things.

i give a list of very diverse food, rich in protein carbs and fat.

fish might grow fast but the quality and quanity of there food intake needs to keep up with their fast pace growth.
