growing peacock question

I had 2 1 1/2" peacocks in my male / 1 female show tank with my big fish i put them in my 35g with my small babys and 2 mbuna males think they will grown faster? They were eatn good in my show tank i just want them to get big as fast as possible
One of them always stayed at the top of the tank i think he needed to be took out of the show tank for a while what yall think

You have o be carefull with the mbunas they can kill your peacock because he is a newcomer and they dont welcome newcomers. But apart from that what i do to grow my peacocks fast I put them in my separate 10 gal tank (in your case you have 35 gal wich is better) I feed them 2 times a day feed them plenty but not way too much or it can cause death! and very important water change 2 times a week I personaly do it on sundays and thursdays.
