Growing rate for indo IT

What is the growing rate for IT? in general proper care with large tank. with proper maintain, regular water, regular feeding.

How fast or slow does it grow? i know these go up to 18"plus.

I wouldnt hold your breath on 18". They grow SLOW. If you got a small one around 2" in size you MAY be able to get him to 6" in 10-12months. I have an Indo that I got when it was 1" last Feb and it is now 4".

my buddy got his on cichlid gold pellets and they bulked up real quick....

what is the best diet? pallets or other? i've been feeding them market shrimp.

I feed my Widebar Raw Shrimp and he went from this to this in 2yrs 9 months. He has also lived in a 240g and a 180g.

Not the best pictures but you get the idea as these are the same to fish.

i have some indos that i got from 1" and my biggest one is about 7.5" (rough estimate, ive never taken him out to actually measure) right now. its been about 8 months now.

feed once a day with:
1" - 2" black worms and occasional guppy feeders
3"+ hikari food sticks, freeze dried shrimp, and occasional comet feeders

just recently (a week ago) i added hikari cichlid bio gold+ to their diet

water changes once a week

just a thought.. was that the same aro? i have a 80% that it is... but he looked rather small after 2 years and 9 months... or.... THAT DAT got really BIIIG! nice!
