do bichir grow slow or fast?

Mine grew slow. I dont have him anymore but he was slow.

ok does a polypterus senegalus grow slow?

they grow fast until they hit around 8" or so then they slo down mine have been similar 2 my polli growth a lil slower tho

mine slow... but i quess some grow faster then others.... depends on many things.. but i think ralatively speaking it would be concidered a slow grower..

Fast..Unless they're in a small tank...I have 3 Senegals all were same size 3 inch...2 are in a 55 gallon and 1 is in a 20 gallon..The one in 20 gallon is still the same size while the 2 in 55gallon are double the size or more.

Small tanks stunt bichirs. In a big tank with good food they will all grow quickly. What size tank is yours in and what othre fish are in there? [dare I ask...]
