Have a little bit of everything in this tank but the majority is Characins. Totally missed the breeding uaru's in this video. They were hiding in the back corner.

Nice setup. Dont know much on the carp looking fish, are they Mahseers? How big are your Armatus and are they on frozen?

How old are the Tatf and what are they eating?

Everyone playing nice so far?

No aggression between the armatus and tanz? i like the mahseer and ATF combo. Hope it works out.

Agreed, masheers and tigers look to be a very good combo, something for me to think about! :D ... nice tank and nice fish blk, doesnt look to be much fighting either judging by the looks of everyone ... nice job

Thanks! Those are my Tor Putitora and Spinibarbus Hollandi AKA Mahseers. The armatus are probably 4" to 5" and are eating frozen.

Wow man, great looking tank and fish. I love the movement in there, looks like I need to hurry up and get some silver dollars in my tank.
I love the movement in the tank too and I didn't even get all the fish in the video. There is also a breeding pair of Uaru,2 small rescued clown loaches, imperial flower loach and a GATF!

I think I got the Tatf back in March and they have basically ate frozen from day one(just treated twice to minnows). Every one plays nice but I did lose 2 Tatf's but still have 3. One was ate by a newly acquired RTG(moved him to a bigger tank) and the other one I lost 2 weeks ago due to a kamikaze ride into the side of the tank when I entered the room. The tank is in a room with no foot traffic so they get startled sometimes when I enter the room. I have strategically placed some power heads and plant mats on the sides of the tank so I hope it doesn't happen again. Now they will either hit the plant mat or have to swim against a strong current.

No aggression between them so far. I just recently added a Gatf but he keeps to himself and doesn't hang with the group. The gatf is a really aggressive eater so hopefully he will catch up to the size of the tatf's.The mahseer and tiger fish combo seems to work good. I eventually wanted to put the mahseers with my goonch but that will be quite a ways down the road. Still undecided if I want to keep the goonch as I would have been better off with a picture in the tank. Cool looking fish but no movement out of him what so ever. Maybe it's time to put him in a community tank to see what happens! :nilly:

Thanks, No fighting at all and now I am tossing up the idea of moving the goonch out of the 230 and moving this group of growouts into the 230.

I will have to do a feeding video next!
