Growout Tank

I am getting a 2" Pbass this week and I was wondering if I could use my 55w/ 1-BGK,2-bala sharks,2-zebra barbs and 2-tetras as a growout tank? None of these would fit in its mouth.

Also how long would it take to grow it enough to put it in a 150w/ 1-7"Pbass and 2-6" oscars

Dont expect your other fishes in the 55g to last very long.. eventually the basss will kill them off.

I kinda figured that in the long run but I could keep guppies in there to keep his attention on them. I will just get a 20 or a 30 down the road a little and switch it to that.
