Moved my growouts from a 90 to a 125 gallon to give them the 6 foot size tank to provide better space for them to grow out and have more room. The 125 is being ran on a Fluval fx6 canister that filter, and a Fluval 406 so the filtration is pretty outstanding on this tank. They also get many water changes since I power feed these fish and there are quite a bit of fish in this tank. Will be adding a few more driftwood prices and rocks for more hiding places. Also added a Argentea and maculicauda (black belt) to the group from rapps. Hopefully they will do fine with everyone else. So far so good but know much can change once the fish get bigger. 1st pic is the 90 they were in, 2nd pic is the 125 they're now in. Last pic is my biggest juvie melanura from back in mid October, the other is him from a week and a half ago, and then the other pic is my biggest male sajica from a few weeks ago. They will be moved to a true monster tank next year when I buy my home. Currently in the tank are central and south Americans. For the centrals, there are vieja melanura 'Laguna Yaxha, Guatemala' race, same as the Lago peten race, F1 vieja maculicauda, sajica t bars, and Argentea. For the South Americans there are F1 Hoplarchus psittacus (true parrots), F1 gymnogeophagus balzanii Rio Uruguay, and geophagus winemilleri. All fish have put on great growth and are doing well since I got them back in early October. The melanura have almost tripled in size already.

Nice! They're looking good, and they've really beefed up.

Good thing is if any of them don't get along or end up bullying the others you can always split the groups some into 90 and others to 125 and let them grow out in two tanks then when you ready to set up big tank put them together and hope tjer isn't any problems that way all of them grow at a sam speed

The South Americans will be put into their own 180 gallon and the centrals will be put into a 300 gallon or bigger. I sold the 90 gallon and can only run one tank until next year. The fish should grow at their max rate in this 125 though. They still have more then plenty of space to grow. Not much aggression and every fish eats the same amount and don't shy away from feedings

I like it
Looks good let's see them argentae those are beautiful viejas

Here's a video of the 125. I'm going to be painting the back black soon. Not a fan of clear back tanks. Like how the black gives the fish a nicer contrast and helps let the colors pop.
