growth in young synodonts

How fast do synodontis guys grow? saw these at the lfs maybe the size of a quarter

btw: it wasn't an upside down cat, it had small black spots all over it thanks

I dont know, but what i CAN tell you is the biggest one i have ever seen is mine.

That just tells me that they dont get big very fast or i'm sure i would see more large specimens.

I purchased mine at a large size, so i didnt see him grow.

Of course now i'm searching around because now i'm curiouse and apparently the Synos grow fairly fast.

But i still dont know HOW fast.

I had a little Syno for about a year and it grew about 1mm lol.

Senior moment: it was actually two years. Time keeps flying faster each year. Must be havin more fun.
