Have you tested your water?
No
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
No

kno4te kno4te what IS this? Any ideas? Felt like a fungus but looks like a growth or something. Hate seeing a sick fish especially at such size as thing guy, around 5 found freshwater drum 90BD8F39-4AAF-43E8-A773-14D8D8718592.jpeg

It might be something called Lymphocystis. Which is a disease found in fresh and saltwater fish species. Let’s see what Kno4te says before jumping to a conclusion.

Lymph is a cauliflower looking disease. I feel like at the size it is it would have spread imo.

He looks tangled in line too.
Nope, not tangled. I was learning how to use a bait caster and got frustrated a couple times with the rats nest and ended up cutting all the line out. The fish is just onto of the line and flopped around in it. I cleaned the line off him before releasing and cleaned all line before leaving
