Hey guys,
I usually buy baby aro's and grow them out to 12+ inches, sell them, and repeat the process. This has been done for about 8 aros already. This process usually takes me a year for silvers and almost a year and a half for jardinis.
My most recent aro purchase was a 3" jardini, and after 8 or so months, he has only grown to about 4.5". He seems healthy, always eating til his stomach bulges, perfect fins, and never seeing any problems. I feed him frozen blood worms, as well as hikari sticks. He is housed in a 150g tank, so size should be sufficient. I don't mind having a small aro since I like to grow the babies out, but was wondering if anyone else had ever run into this situation?
Thanks all,
J
