Wes just got a bunch of Pinima in and was looking to get a couple for my 180...currently at 7" and Iv heard they have a growth rate similar to Tems but have no first hand knowledge of whether that is true or not. Looking at pictures and whatnot I am seeing that they tend to get more fat like Azuls before they grow super lengthy like Tems but its just an observation

Anybody had them before starting from juvies...I am not a power feeder but was hoping I could house them in a 210 for a while?

well, not a bunch., including the ones you wanted, they're all spoken for...they do grow pretty fast. but honestly, all peacock bass will grow fast if given enough food. they go from 1" to 10" in the wild, almost regardless of species. most will breed the first year, if not the second, during the rainy season

Yep, I can't speak for tems because I never had one but my pinima went from 3-4in to 17" in less than a year. Fastest growing cichla I've had by far.

My two haven't grown choose to as quickly as my 3 monos, my monos have grown about 2" and I haven't noticed the pinima grow at all really and they're only a couple of inches long.
