I've had my vatf for almost 1 year now and he grew from almost 5" to 15" in that time. What do you think I should expect from year two? 4", 6"?? Opinions are welcome but I'd like to hear from some keepers that have kept vatf long term. Thanks.

Mine hasn't grown much for a year now, perhaps probably because the tank isn't big enough but my gatf has caught up and outgrown the vatf by a lot. Vatf grew to 15" or so as well and now it just hasn't grown much at all.. Where as my big gatf has grown from less than 12" to now at least 19". Just depends on tank foot print, water quality and a good diet.
From what i remember you said your vatf was in a 8x4 correct?......my guess is 17ish by the same time next year.... i think growth will slow down....just a guess
10x4x2.5'. His first few months he grew quickly and lately it's been slower. It will be interesting to see.
I think it will be 3-4" the next year given that you have it feeding well regularly. Mine has been hyper aggressive and not actually feeding that much this is why it hasn't grown much.
